"More to Say" Open Play

Join us for a fun, supportive, and engaging playgroup hosted by PlayPatch Playhouse in Oxford, CT, in collaboration with More to Say Pediatric Development & Therapy. This special 2-hour open play session will feature a licensed speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist onsite from 10:15am-11:15am to provide developmental screenings. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local parents and caregivers while receiving education on child development in a welcoming environment. What to Expect: Children will enjoy a thoughtfully designed playscape that encourages gross motor development, social participation, and imaginative play. Activities include swinging, imaginative play areas, a gated soft play area specifically for infants, and much more! When More to Say is onsite, caregivers will have the opportunity to: Learn practical strategies to support their child's motor, communication, and feeding development Receive guidance on developmental milestones and ask questions about any areas of concern Determine if speech-language, occupational, or feeding therapy services may benefit their child TERMS & CONDITIONS: Our play space is designed for children ages 9 and under. Admission includes up to 2 hours of open play. Reservations are highly encouraged due to capacity. All guests must wear socks and sign our waiver. Children's socks must be non-slip (grippy). We offer free admission for adults and for children under 1 year of age when accompanied by a sibling with paid admission. Due to our space's limited capacity, please limit adult guests to no more than 2 per paid admission. Sibling admission can only be used for siblings - no cousins, friends, or other relatives, please. All admission sales are final. We allow play sessions to be rescheduled one time with at least 24 hours' notice.
